Collaborations & Pictures
I tell alone as well as with gifted and inspirational storyteller colleagues.
As a storyteller, I have had the privilege of performing at various events, ranging from intimate gatherings to festivals. In libraries and assembly halls, both alone and with other storytellers, I have created cozy and educational moments for both children and adults. At private parties, personalized narratives have contributed to setting the mood and creating memories.
You may have also seen or heard me on the BestTellers stage in Vesterbro, where I often tell stories. BestTellers is the only stage in Europe dedicated to storytelling. It is home to some of the finest storytellers in Denmark, and I am honored to share my stories on this legendary stage.
The Storytelling Quartet (Fortællequarteten)
I also tell stories together with others; among them, I am part of the StorytellingQuartet, a group of storytellers consisting of Frederik Sylvest, Ragnhild Clod Pedersen, Mogens Nielsen, and myself.
Our concept is simple: we offer a one-and-a-half-hour performance, taking turns to share stories. The format requires nothing more than chairs for the audience.
We create a dynamic evening, providing the opportunity to experience the stories of four different storytellers and their unique ways of narrating.
Mythomaniac (Guldtunget mytoman)
To keep myself sharp as a storyteller, I frequently participate in BestTellers' Mythomaniac performances. The Mythomaniac concept is a form of evaluation where the audience rates one's performance.
It is with a certain pride that I can say I have been awarded the title of 'Gold-Tongued Mythomaniac' twice!
Chanet & Mette
Chanet Deleuran and I tell stories together. Stories about women and by women, about women in all forms and shapes; from the sharp-tongued ones to the more meek and serene ones. We promise to share both the unvarnished truth and the purest of fabrications.
Noth Coast Tellers (Nordkystfortællerne)
I am part of Nordkystfortællerne, a storytelling group based in the northernmost part of Zealand. You can hear us at the WoodStories Storytelling Festival and many other venues
Libraries, Assembly Halls, and Festivals
I have also had the pleasure of telling stories at various libraries, smaller festivals, and similar venues, often alongside other storytellers. The stories at these events have frequently revolved around topics such as Christmas stories, tales of sweet treats, stories in the dark, courage, and fear.
